A storm system will bring rain and thunderstorms to much of the Intermountain West and northern High Plains. A few severe thunderstorms with large hail and damaging winds are possible from northeast California to Wyoming. Heavy rain could lead to flash flooding in some of the western states. Severe weather will be possible in the Plains Saturday.
