Heavy rain is expected from eastern Texas across the Lower Miss. Valley to the Southeast U.S. this weekend. This rain could lead to flash flooding. Meanwhile, heavy rain will also spread into the Northwest U.S., with heavy snow in the higher elevations of the Cascades and northern Rockies.
