Severe Weather Threat Will Continue Sunday Across Much of the Central U.S.

Another round of severe thunderstorms is forecast for parts of the central U.S. today into tonight. The area of greatest risk extends from central Okla. into eastern Kan., western Mo. and southeast Neb. where very large hail and a few strong tornadoes are possible. Today Patchy fog before noon. Otherwise, cloudy early, then clearing, with a high near 76. South southeast wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph.

Tonight Patchy fog after midnight. Otherwise, increasing clouds, with a low around 60. West southwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming light and variable after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 15 mph.

Monday Patchy fog before noon. Otherwise, cloudy through mid morning, then gradual clearing, with a high near 85. Light and variable wind becoming west southwest 5 to 10 mph in the afternoon.
