Severe weather possible along Gulf Coast
The NWS Storm Prediction Center is forecasting a risk of severe thunderstorms Monday afternoon and evening across the western and central Gulf Coast, from eastern Texas to the Florida Panhandle. Locally-damaging wind and large hail will be the main threats, with isolated tornadoes possible, as well. There is an Enhanced Risk of severe thunderstorms across southern Louisiana.
