Severe Thunderstorm Threats and Areas of Heavy Rain This Week

A weather system producing areas of heavy rain will slowly move northeast along the east coast into mid-week. Meanwhile, a new weather system may produce severe thunderstorms potentially containing large hail, damaging winds, and isolated tornadoes in the Plains and Mississippi Valley.
