NOAA issued its 2013 Atlantic hurricane season outlook on Thursday, predicting an active Atlantic hurricane season. The 2013 Atlantic hurricane season has a 70% likelihood of 13-20 named storms, of which 7-11 could become hurricanes, including 3-6 major hurricanes. NOAA's seasonal hurricane outlook does not predict how many storms will hit land or where a storm will strike.
