Severe weather possible across central Plains

The NWS Storm Prediction Center is forecasting a risk of severe thunderstorms Wednesday afternoon and evening across parts of the central Plains. The areas at greatest risk are southeastern Wyo., northeastern Colo. and the Neb. Panhandle, where very large hail and tornadoes are possible, as well as southern Neb. and northern Kan., where large hail and damaging winds will be the main threats.
