Severe weather and flash flooding possible in separate areas Saturday

Severe weather will be possible across portions of the central and northern Plains Saturday. Primary threats will be large hail and damaging winds although a brief tornado cannot be ruled out. Across the Mississippi and Tennessee Valleys, heavy rainfall could lead to flash flooding where 1 to 2 inches of rainfall is possible through Sunday morning.
