Severe Weather Threat Will Continue Sunday Across Much of the Central U.S.

Another round of severe thunderstorms is forecast for parts of the central U.S. today into tonight. The area of greatest risk extends from central Okla. into eastern Kan., western Mo. and southeast Neb. where very large hail and a few strong tornadoes are possible. Today A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 1pm. Some of the storms could be severe. Partly sunny, with a high near 29. Southwest wind 10 to 20 km/h.

Tonight A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 1am. Some of the storms could be severe. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 15. Southwest wind 10 to 15 km/h.
