Severe Weather in Florida and the Great Plains; Heavy Rainfall in Hawaii and the Gulf Coast

Scattered severe thunderstorms will continue over parts of the north-central Florida Peninsula and develop in the southern Great Plains. New daily record high temperatures are expected for portions of South Florida and southern Texas the next couple of days. Flash flooding is expected in Hawaii.
