Heavy rain and thunderstorms from the central Gulf Coast to Southeast U.S. early this week

Thunderstorms with heavy rain are expected from eastern TX across the Lower Miss. Valley to the Southeast U.S. on Monday. This rain could lead to flash flooding. Some of the thunderstorms could be severe in this area, producing damaging wind and tornadoes.
