Severe weather possible across parts of eastern U.S.

Scattered strong to severe thunderstorms will occur into early Tuesday morning from the mid-Atlantic to the Carolinas. Other strong to severe thunderstorms will persist over a portion of central and southern Florida.

FRIDAY MORNING...

Synopsis: LIGHT TO MODERATE WINDS WILL CONTINUE INTO THE EARLY EVENING BEFORE MARINE CONDITIONS BEGIN TO DETERIORATE TONIGHT. A STRONG PACIFIC STORM WILL PINCH THE PRESSURE GRADIENT ACROSS THE COASTAL WATERS BRINGING STRONG GALES TO THE OUTER WATERS TUESDAY THROUGH EARLY THURSDAY. LARGE AND STEEP WAVES WILL DEVELOP IN RESPONSE TO THE INCREASING WINDS. CONDITIONS WILL BEGIN TO IMPROVE LATER IN THE WEEK.
