Heavy Rain and a Few Severe Thunderstorms Across Nation's Mid-Section Wednesday

A slow-moving front will bring multiple rounds of thunderstorms across parts of the Missouri River Valley into the Mid-Mississippi and the Tennessee River Valleys through Wednesday night. Local flooding from the heavy rains can be expected in some areas, so Flash Flood Watches are in effect. In addition, some of the stronger storms may produce damaging winds, large hail, and isolated tornadoes.
