Marine Zone Forecast
Synopsis...AT 09Z...OR 2 AM PDT...A 1025 MB SURFACE HIGH WAS CENTERED IN IDAHO. A 1008 MB LOW WAS CENTERED NEAR YUMA WITH A THERMAL TROUGH EXTENDING INTO CENTRAL CA. A 1019 MB LOW WAS CENTERED 500 NM W OF PORTLAND OREGON. THIS LOW WILL MOVE INTO THE GREAT BASIN ON TUE AND STRONG HIGH PRESSURE WILL BUILD INTO THE EASTERN PACIFIC. THIS MAY BRING GALE FORCE WINDS AND HAZARDOUS SEAS TO PORTIONS OF THE COASTAL WATERS TUE AFTERNOON THROUGH THU.

Today: Winds variable 10 kt or less...becoming W 10 to 20 kt in the afternoon. Wind waves 1 to 3 ft. W swell 4 to 6 ft at 9 seconds.

Tonight: W winds 10 to 20 kt in the evening...becoming E to SE 10 kt late. Wind waves 1 to 3 ft. W swell 3 to 5 ft at 9 seconds. Patchy fog after midnight.

Tue: E winds 5 to 10 kt...becoming W 10 to 15 kt in the afternoon. Wind waves 2 ft or less. W swell 4 to 6 ft at 9 seconds. Patchy fog in the morning.

Tue Night: W to NW winds 10 to 20 kt with gusts to 25 kt...strongest western portion. Combined seas 6 to 8 ft dominant period 8 seconds.

Wed: W to NW winds 10 to 20 kt with gusts to 25 kt...becoming W 15 to 25 kt with local gusts to 30 kt. Combined seas 6 to 8 ft dominant period 8 seconds.

Wed Night: W winds 15 to 25 kt with gusts to 30 kt in the evening...becoming N 10 to 15 kt late. Combined seas 7 to 9 ft... Subsiding to 5 to 7 ft after midnight.

Thu: N winds 10 to 15 kt...becoming W to NW 10 to 20 kt in the afternoon. Wind waves 2 to 3 ft. W swell 4 to 6 ft.

Fri: W to NW winds 10 to 20 kt with local gusts to 25 kt. Wind waves 2 to 4 ft. W swell 4 to 6 ft.
