SEAS ARE PROVIDED AS A RANGE OF SIGNIFICANT WAVE HEIGHTS...WHICH IS THE AVERAGE HEIGHT OF THE HIGHEST 1/3 OF THE WAVES...ALONG WITH THE OCCASIONAL HEIGHT OF THE AVERAGE HIGHEST 10 PERCENT OF THE WAVES.

Synopsis...WINDS WILL LIGHTEN OVER THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS AND PREVAIL OUT OF A GENERALLY SOUTHERLY DIRECTION AHEAD OF A DISSIPATING COLD FRONT ON FRIDAY. STRONG SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE WILL BUILD INTO THE EASTERN STATES THIS WEEKEND. THIS WILL TURN WINDS NORTHEASTERLY WHILE INCREASING.

7 NAUTICAL MILES EAST OF FOWEY ROCKS. 13 NAUTICAL MILES NORTHEAST OF PORT EVERGLADES. 12 NAUTICAL MILES SOUTHEAST OF LAKE WORTH. 11 NAUTICAL MILES NORTHEAST OF JUPITER INLET.

Rest Of Tonight: South southwest winds 5 to 9 knots along the coast to south southwest 8 to 13 knots in the gulf stream. Seas 2 to 3 feet. Dominant period 5 seconds. Intracoastal waters a light chop. Slight chance of thunderstorms.

Thursday: Along the coast...west southwest winds 5 to 7 knots becoming south 5 to 8 knots in the afternoon. In the gulf stream...southwest winds 6 to 11 knots. Seas around 2 feet. Dominant period 5 seconds. Intracoastal waters a light chop. Slight chance of thunderstorms.

Thursday Night: South southeast winds 5 to 8 knots becoming south southwest. Seas around 2 feet. Dominant period 7 seconds. Intracoastal waters smooth. Slight chance of thunderstorms in the evening...then slight chance of showers after midnight.

Friday: West northwest winds around 5 knots becoming north northeast 5 to 7 knots in the afternoon. Seas less than 2 feet. Dominant period 8 seconds. Intracoastal waters smooth. Slight chance of showers.

Friday Night: East southeast winds around 5 knots becoming south southeast 5 to 10 knots. Seas less than 2 feet. Intracoastal waters a light chop. Slight chance of showers.

Saturday: Northeast winds 14 to 19 knots. Seas 2 to 3 feet building to 3 to 5 feet with occasional seas up to 6 feet in the afternoon. Intracoastal waters choppy in exposed areas. Slight chance of showers.

Saturday Night And Sunday: East northeast winds 16 to 21 knots. Seas 3 to 5 feet with occasional seas up to 8 feet. Intracoastal waters choppy in exposed areas.

Sunday Night And Monday: East northeast winds 14 to 19 knots. Seas 2 to 4 feet with occasional seas up to 5 feet. Intracoastal waters choppy in exposed areas.
