Sunday: New England remains cool and wet as the Northern Plains prepares for the next round of severe weather

The Northeast will be cool on Sunday with many locations being 10 to 20 degrees below normal. New England will mostly be wet with rain likely; however, the higher elevations in New England will see accumulating snowfall. Scattered thunderstorms are in the forecast for the Northern Plains, some of which could be severe.
