Hot temperatures returning to the Southwest

After a brief reprieve, the southwestern U.S. will heat up again on Sunday and last for several days. Temperatures will be 10 to 15 degrees above normal in some locations, with daytime highs reaching 100 degrees in parts of the Inland Empire of southern California, and reaching 100-115 degrees in the deserts of Calif., Nevada and Arizona.
