Low Elevation Snow in the West; Stormy Weather Followed by Snow in the Northeast

Another cold weather system sliding south along the west coast will bring rain with some low elevation snow to the western states. Snow will be as low as 300 feet in western Washington. A vigorous cold front moving through the Northeast will bring heavy rain and thunderstorms followed by areas of snow. Rain-on-snow flooding is possible in portions of New England and New York State.
