Scattered strong to severe thunderstorms will occur into early Tuesday morning from the mid-Atlantic to the Carolinas. Other strong to severe thunderstorms will persist over a portion of central and southern Florida.

Synopsis: AT 130 PM...A 1013 MB HIGH OVER THE SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA BIGHT AND A 1005 MB LOW NEAR LAS VEGAS WERE INDUCING WEAK ONSHORE FLOW OVER THE COASTAL WATERS. WEAK TO MODERATE ONSHORE FLOW WILL CONTINUE THROUGH SATURDAY. A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM MOVING INTO SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA WILL BRING A FEW LIGHT SHOWERS OR SPRINKLES TUESDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.
