Strong thunderstorms could produce strong winds and large hail across southwest Oklahoma and northwest Texas on Tuesday. Strong thunderstorms are also possible from Arkansas into southern Georgia and northern Florida. Elsewhere, snow is likely on Tuesday from the Great Lakes to upstate New York.

Synopsis: AT 1 AM... A 1025 MB HIGH WAS 500 NM WEST OF POINT CONCEPTION AND A 1011 MB LOW WAS NEAR NEEDLES. MODERATE ONSHORE FLOW WILL CONTINUE THROUGH WEDNESDAY AND INCREASE THURSDAY. A TROUGH MOVING INLAND NORTH OF THE AREA WILL BRING STRONGER NORTHWEST WINDS AND STEEP SEAS THURSDAY...MAINLY OVER THE OUTER WATERS. OFFSHORE FLOW IS EXPECTED TO DEVELOP THURSDAY NIGHT INTO FRIDAY...AND THEN BECOME ONSHORE AGAIN SATURDAY.
