Severe Weather Threat Will Continue Sunday Across Much of the Central U.S.

Another round of severe thunderstorms is forecast for parts of the central U.S. today into tonight. The area of greatest risk extends from central Okla. into eastern Kan., western Mo. and southeast Neb. where very large hail and a few strong tornadoes are possible. Today Sunny and hot, with a high near 105. Windy, with a south southwest wind 20 to 25 mph, with gusts as high as 36 mph.

Tonight Mostly clear, with a low around 69. Windy, with a south wind 20 to 25 mph decreasing to 11 to 16 mph after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 36 mph.
