Severe weather possible across northern Plains

The NWS Storm Prediction Center is forecasting a risk of severe thunderstorms Tuesday afternoon and evening across the northern Plains, from northwestern Minnesota across much of the Dakotas and Nebraska and into northern Wyoming and southern Montana. Large hail and damaging wind gusts will be the main threats. Meanwhile, a few strong thunderstorms are possible across the Southeast.
