Severe weather possible for parts of Midwest and central, southern Plains

The NWS Storm Prediction Center is forecasting a risk of severe thunderstorms Monday afternoon and evening across parts of the central Plains and Midwest, from central Kansas to west-central Illinois, as well as across parts of the southern Plains, from West Texas to southeastern New Mexico.
