Severe weather possible across parts of southern U.S.

The NWS Storm Prediction Center is forecasting a risk of severe thunderstorms Tuesday afternoon and evening from Texas across the Southeast to the Atlantic coast. The area at greatest risk are from northern Texas and southern Oklahoma across Arkansas and into northern Mississippi and central Alabama. Large hail and damaging winds will be the main threats.
