Severe weather possible across parts of Gulf Coast

The NWS Storm Prediction Center is forecasting a risk of severe thunderstorms Tuesday across the central and eastern Gulf Coast. Locally-damaging wind and large hail will be the main threats, with isolated tornadoes possible as well.

Synopsis: A COLD FRONT WILL SWEEP ACROSS THE WATERS THIS MORNING. ANOTHER WEAK FRONT WILL MOVE THROUGH THE WATERS WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON. HIGH PRES WILL BUILD INTO THE COASTAL WATERS ON THURSDAY THEN SHIFT OFFSHORE FRIDAY INTO THE WEEKEND.
