Severe weather possible across parts of Texas and Gulf Coast

The NWS Storm Prediction Center is forecasting a risk of severe thunderstorms Monday afternoon and evening across parts of eastern Texas and the Gulf Coast. Locally-damaging winds and large hail will be the main threats, with isolated tornadoes possible, as well. A few strong to severe storms are also possible across parts of central and southern Florida.
