Severe weather, flash flooding possible across parts of central U.S.

The NWS Storm Prediction Center is forecasting a risk of severe thunderstorms Monday afternoon & evening across parts of the central U.S. from northern Oklahoma across the mid-Mississippi Valley and into the Great Lakes. A few strong to severe storms may also occur over parts of the Southeast & mid-Atlantic. Heavy rainfall could lead to flash flooding across parts of the central & southern Plains.
