Severe weather expected for portions of the Central U.S on Thursday

The NWS Storm Prediction Center (SPC) expects severe weather in the Central U.S on Thursday. The area of greatest concern is in the southern and central Plains. This area has been outlined by SPC as a slight risk area. The primary threat with these storms will be damaging winds and large hail, but isolated tornadoes cannot be ruled out.
