At 609 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was over Sanford, or 10 miles northeast of Georgetown, moving east at 15 mph. HAZARD...Winds 40 to 50 mph, up to penny sized hail, frequent lightning and heavy rain. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect minor damage to tree limbs and blowing around of light, unsecured objects. Heavy rain may cause temporary street flooding especially in poor drainage areas.
