Between 0.5 and 1.25 inch of rain has fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.75 to 1.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar indicated. Clovis, Cannon Air Force Base, Saint Vrain and Portair. This includes Highway 60 between Mile Markers 369 and 394. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of normally dry arroyos and streambeds, low water crossings, intersections and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low lying areas. Do not drive your vehicle into areas where water covers the roadway. The water depth may be too great to allow your car to cross safely. && LAT...LON 3443 10311 3437 10308 3430 10307 3430 10350 3442 10354 3446 10356 3445 10353 3443 10350 3443 10344 3444 10337 3450 10328 3453 10327 3451 10325 3448 10318 FLASH FLOOD...RADAR INDICATED $$ DPorter
