...A LINE OF GUSTY VIRGA SHOWERS WILL IMPACT CIBOLA...EASTERN
MCKINLEY...WESTERN RIO ARRIBA...WESTERN SANDOVAL...NORTHWESTERN
CATRON AND SOUTHEASTERN SAN JUAN COUNTIES THROUGH 530 PM MDT...

At 448 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking gusty showers along a line
extending from 11 miles northwest of Dulce southwestward to near
Luna in Catron county.

Movement was southeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph. Localized gusts to 70 mph from
         dry microbursts are possible until around sunset.

SOURCE...Farmington Automated Surface Observing Systems (ASOS) wind
         gust to 75 mph observed at 4:24 PM MDT.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Grants, Chama, Cuba, Dulce, Crownpoint, Tierra Amarilla, Thoreau,
Luna, Milan, and Quemado.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If threatening weather approaches your area, take shelter in a sturdy
building.

Blowing dust associated with strong thunderstorm winds can reduce
visibilities below one quarter mile at times.
