...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN ROOSEVELT COUNTY
THROUGH 630 PM MDT...

At 555 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Bledsoe, or 18 miles west of Morton, moving southeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of southeastern
Roosevelt County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If threatening weather approaches your area, take shelter in a sturdy
building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor your preferred
media outlets and NOAA Weather Radio for additional information and
possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM MDT for
east central New Mexico.
