.DISCUSSION...

A storm system moving through the Dakotas this morning and into
western Minnesota later this afternoon and tonight will lead to
scattered showers and thunderstorms for the forecast area. Rain
chances look to wind down and come to an end across central South
Dakota by midday today but linger for locales east through the
afternoon and into this evening. Stronger southeast breezes will be
felt through late morning across northeast South Dakota and west
central Minnesota, while northwest winds will increase this
afternoon across the Missouri Valley. Lowest relative humidity
values this afternoon will be found across north central South
Dakota where readings will bottom out between 30 to 35 percent.
