A storm system will track across the Dakotas today and eventually
into western Minnesota by tonight. Scattered showers and
thunderstorms are expected to affect most of the listening area
today. Rain chances will dwindle first across central South Dakota
by late this morning but continue to persist for locations farther
east through the late afternoon into the evening hours. Clouds and
rainfall will keep temperatures a bit cooler in the east today while
some sunshine in the west this afternoon will lead to warmer
readings. More on and off rain chances will continue through the end
of the week into the upcoming weekend.

Highs today will reach the upper 60s to mid 70s. Lows tonight will
fall into the mid 40s to around 50 degrees. Highs on Friday will
reach the low to mid 70s.
