Low pressure will cross the region today, with the risk of severe
storms later this afternoon and evening, with the potential for large
hail and damaging winds. Storms wane after midnight with a cold front
following in the systems wake, generating gusty northwest winds
across central South Dakota early Friday.

Temperatures will top out in the mid and upper 70s with a touch of
humidity. Lows will range from 50s in far eastern South Dakota, to
upper 30s for western South Dakota.
