...FLOOD WATCH FOR AN ICE JAM REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH MONDAY
MORNING...

* WHAT...Additional flooding caused by an ice jam is possible.

* WHERE...The Yukon River from near Mountain Village to St. Mary`s
  to Pilot Station.

* WHEN...Through Monday morning.

* IMPACTS...The ice jam downstream of Pilot Station released around
  3:30 pm Sunday afternoon. Water levels are expected to rise at St.
  Mary`s, Pitkas Point, and Mountain Village.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - The ice started moving at Mountain Village at 4:30 pm Sunday,
    with water levels up approximately 5 feet. Water levels
    should continue to slowly recede at Pilot Station...however,
    if another ice jam forms, the water levels will rise again.

    Pilot Station, St. Marys, and Mountain Village residents
    should continue to monitor river conditions through Monday
    morning as the ice and water continues to move downstream.
    Significant rises in water levels remain possible.

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood
Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared
to take action should flooding develop.
