TANANA FLATS...EIELSON AFB AND SALCHA...GOLDSTREAM VALLEY AND
NENANA HILLS...CHATANIKA RIVER VALLEY...TWO RIVERS...FAIRBANKS
METRO AREA AND NENANA...

The National Weather Service in Fairbanks has issued a Red Flag
Warning, which is in effect until 9 PM AKDT this evening.

* AFFECTED AREA...Tanana Flats, Eielson AFB and Salcha,
  Goldstream Valley and Nenana Hills, Chatanika River Valley,
  Two Rivers, Fairbanks Metro Area and Nenana.

* TIMING...Until 9 PM AKDT this evening.

* WINDS...Southeast 15 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.

* HUMIDITY...As low as 18 to 25 percent.

* TEMPERATURES...In the mid 70s.

* IMPACTS...Dry, warm and windy conditions will continue through
  this evening. This could push trees into power lines and start fires.
  Humidity will start to rise and temperatures fall  after 9 pm
  this evening.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning means that conditions are occurring or will
occur which could lead to the development of large and dangerous
fires. It is directed toward fire agencies, and through them, to
the public.

Please advise the appropriate officials or fire crews in the
field of this Red Flag Warning.
