...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT BERTIE...SOUTHEASTERN HERTFORD
AND CHOWAN COUNTIES THROUGH 230 AM EDT...

At 205 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from near Powellsville to 6
miles north of Robersonville. Movement was east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph, heavy rain, and frequent
         lightning.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Reduced visibility and minor flooding
         possible. Frequent cloud to ground lightning strikes.

Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  Powellsville around 210 AM EDT.

Other locations impacted by these storms include Goose Pond, Whites
Crossroads, Gliden, Earleys, Newsome Store, Arrowhead Beach,
Republican, Mount Gould, Hancock, and Burden.
