...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT PERQUIMANS...NORTHEASTERN
BERTIE...SOUTHEASTERN HERTFORD...SOUTHEASTERN GATES AND CHOWAN
COUNTIES THROUGH 315 AM EDT...

At 235 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Ryland to 8 miles southwest of Valhalla.
Movement was east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and frequent lightning.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Frequent cloud to ground lightning
         strikes.

Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  Ryland, Rockyhock, Tyner, Valhalla, and Belvidere around 240 AM
  EDT.
  Hertford, Winfall, and Cape Colony around 250 AM EDT.
  Burgess, Snug Harbor, and Chapanoke around 300 AM EDT.

Other locations impacted by these storms include Goose Pond, Whites
Crossroads, Holiday Island, Gliden, Drummond Point, Newsome Store,
Arrowhead Beach, Peach, Saint Johns, and Parkville.
