At 957 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 7 miles east of Wilsons to near Brodnax to 9
miles southeast of Virgilina. Movement was east southeast at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Strong thunderstorms will be near...
Dinwiddie, Lawrenceville, McKenney, Brodnax, La Crosse, Alberta,
and Dewitt around 1005 PM EDT.
Brunswick and Ebony around 1010 PM EDT.
Purdy, Gasburg, Radium, and Carson around 1020 PM EDT.
Emporia, Jarratt, Stony Creek, and Barley around 1025 PM EDT.
Other locations impacted by these storms include Grizzard, Gum Forks,
Dolphin, Bowens Corner, Pleasant Shade, Henrico, Wharfs Store,
Forksville, Richard Bland College, and Brink.
