At 612 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Hebron to near Deal Island to Tangier.
Movement was southeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Heavy rain and frequent lightning.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Reduced visibility and minor flooding possible. Frequent
         cloud to ground lightning strikes.

Locations impacted include...
Salisbury, Fruitland, Princess Anne, University Of Maryland Eastern
Shore, Salisbury University, Tangier, Lawsonia, Westover,
Parsonsburg, West Pocomoke, Marion Station, Tylerton, Saxis,
Whitehaven, Wetipquin, Harborton, Trinity, Cokesbury, Eden, and
Kingston.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Heavy rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
