...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN BERTIE AND
SOUTHEASTERN NORTHAMPTON COUNTIES THROUGH 100 AM EDT...

At 1157 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 12 miles west of Halifax to 10 miles northeast
of Dortches to near Rocky Mount. Movement was east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph, pea size hail, and frequent
         lightning.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible. Frequent cloud to ground lightning strikes.

These storms will remain over mainly rural areas of northwestern
Bertie and southeastern Northampton Counties, including the following
locations... Eagletown, Boones Crossroads, Kelford, George, Lasker,
and Bryantown.
