...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN GREENE COUNTY
THROUGH 545 PM EDT...

At 515 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Lanesville, or near Hunter, moving northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Hunter, Windham, Lanesville, North-South Lake Campground,
Tannersville, Edgewood, Hensonville, Jewett Center, Maplecrest,
Haines Falls, Beecher Corners, Spruceton, Elka Park, South Jewett,
Brooksburg, East Jewett, and East Windham.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
