FULTON...WEST CENTRAL SARATOGA...SCHOHARIE AND MONTGOMERY COUNTIES
THROUGH 515 PM EDT...

At 428 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Johnstown, moving northeast at 55 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Amsterdam, Gloversville, Johnstown, Cobleskill, Canajoharie, Fonda,
Jefferson, Fort Plain, Ephratah, Broadalbin, Hagaman, Summit,
Northville, Schoharie, Richmondville, Mayfield, Sharon Springs, Fort
Johnson, Galway, and Ames.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 88 between exits 20 and 23.
 Interstate 90 between exits 27 and 29.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
