...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHERN OLDHAM AND NORTHERN
DEAF SMITH COUNTIES THROUGH 1015 PM CDT...

At 937 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Adrian, or 15 miles west of Vega, moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Vega, Adrian, and Simms.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for
the Panhandle of Texas.
