...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTH CENTRAL OLDHAM AND
NORTHWESTERN DEAF SMITH COUNTIES THROUGH 815 PM CDT...

At 728 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles northwest of Simms, or 21 miles southwest of Vega, moving
southeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Simms.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for
the Panhandle of Texas.
