...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL RANDALL COUNTY THROUGH
500 PM CDT...

At 424 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles northwest of Happy, or 11 miles south of Canyon, moving
northeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Amarillo, Canyon, Lake Tanglewood, Mescalero Park, and Timbercreek
Canyon.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for
the Panhandle of Texas.
