...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 630 PM CDT
FOR WESTERN DALLAM AND NORTHWESTERN HARTLEY COUNTIES...

At 543 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 12 miles east of
Sedan, or 21 miles southeast of Clayton, moving east at 30 mph.

THIS IS A DESTRUCTIVE STORM FOR RURAL AREAS OF WESTERN DALLAM
COUNTY, SOUTH OF TEXLINE AND WEST OF WARE.

HAZARD...Baseball size hail and 70 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Trained weather spotters.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be severely injured.
         Expect shattered windows, extensive damage to roofs,
         siding, and vehicles.

Locations impacted include...
Texline and Ware.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

This storm is producing large hail. SEEK SHELTER NOW inside a sturdy
structure and stay away from windows.

This thunderstorm is capable of producing all types of severe weather
including extremely large hail, destructive straight line winds and
tornadoes. Move quickly to a safe shelter, such as an interior room,
a bathroom or closet or basement.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
