...THUNDERSTORMS WILL BRING GUSTY WINDS AND LIGHTNING TO PARTS OF
SOUTHWEST WISCONSIN THROUGH 830 AM CDT...

At 742 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Centralia, or 7 miles west of Dubuque, moving northeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 30 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

This strong thunderstorm will be near...
  Lancaster around 810 AM CDT.

Other locations impacted by this storm include Big H Campground,
Preston, Arthur, Highway 61 And County T, Mount Ida, Beetown, Union,
Cornelia, County Roads K And T, and Porters Bridge.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

If on or near the Mississippi River, get out of the water and move
indoors or inside a vehicle. Remember, lightning can strike out to
10 miles from the parent thunderstorm. If you can hear thunder, you
are close enough to be struck by lightning. Move to safe shelter
now! Do not be caught on the water in a thunderstorm.
