...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT WESTERN OLMSTED...NORTHWESTERN
MOWER AND SOUTHERN DODGE COUNTIES THROUGH 730 PM CDT...

At 627 PM CDT, the public reported a strong thunderstorm near
Hayfield, or 9 miles southwest of Dodge Center, moving northeast at
10 mph.

HAZARD...Funnel clouds are reported near Blooming Prairie by the
         public and law enforcement.

This includes Interstate 90 in Minnesota between mile markers 218
and 219.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Conditions are favorable for the development of weak, brief funnel
clouds. This type of funnel cloud is harmless, but on rare occasions
they can briefly touch down, producing wind gusts over 50 mph. If a
funnel cloud is spotted move indoors and report your sighting to the
National Weather Service.
