Showers are moving towards the northeast over much of the region
this morning. Thunderstorms are expected to develop later this
afternoon, with severe storms becoming possible over much of
southern North Dakota into South Dakota. Highs today are forecast
from the lower to mid 50s northwest, to the upper 70s and lower
80s over southeastern South Dakota and southern Minnesota.

Showers will continue across the region overnight and through much
of Friday. Colder air moves into the area, with frost possible
over many locations Friday night. Temperatures will then gradually
warm through Memorial Day Weekend and into early next week.
Showers and occasional thunderstorms will be possible through
Memorial Day.
